Julie and I were married in 1996. We have two adult daughters, Amanda and Emily. Julie and I live in the Piedmont Triad region of North Carolina.
Julie grew up in the lovely state of Washington. Julie went to Shelton High School and graduated from Washington State University. We met in Seattle, WA where Julie and I both worked at a long-term care facility. Julie enjoys animals, crafts, and swimming. She is a mail carrier and delivers the mail to our neighborhood. I work from home two days per week, and sometimes we are able to have lunch together.
I grew up in Michigan and attended Holt High School. I went to college at Olivet Nazarene University. I also attended Fuller Theological Seminary and Wheaton College. I am a psychologist and have been employed at the Department of Veterans Affairs since 2007. I enjoy animals, riding my bicycle, and listening to jazz music. Julie and I have 3 rescue dogs. We enjoy them very much.
Julie and I attend Kernersville Wesleyan Church. Having a place to grow spiritually and connect with others is important, and we are grateful for our church.
